Licorice Stout - still fermenting??

All my other brews have nearly fermented out in a day or two. I thought the licorice stout had finished after about 48 hours but it just keeps producing a slight steady bubble of gas every couple of minutes. Don't want to rack it off too soon and risk some bad smells in the beer. It looks like a bucket of treacle.
